Hot And Sticky

I am actually quite glad to be at work today. Not because I have tons of really interesting and challenging things to do. No, things are pretty much as they have been for the last couple of months - boring as hell.
Nope, I'm just happy to be inside in the air conditioning. Here it is nice and cool and not humid. I have air conditioning at the house too but I don't keep it anywhere near as cool as it is in here. If I tried it would probably cause my AC to blow up.
Temps today around 93 degrees F with a heat index of who knows how high. The humidity is on the rise and we have a KnoZone Action Day (meaning we have lots of low level ozone making it hard to breathe. damn pollution). So for once I am actually happy to be inside at my desk, even if it is boring.
I am also really happy that I don't live on the east coast where it is supposed to be over 100 again and many people/places don't have air conditioning or only have a window unit. I am a lucky girl and I know it. Hopefully the heat will break soon. June was hotter and wetter than normal. Now we need rain. Weird Indiana weather, man.
Stay cool, kiddies!
