Home Again, Home Again
Oct. 1st, 2010 08:18 pmI meant to post sooner but jet lag, sinus infection and work got in the way. I got home at 1:00 AM Monday morning, slept a very little bit, then went in to work. I think today is the first time I've felt even remotely human all week. In the future I plan to build in a day to recuperate from the travel day before I go back to work.
Still I'm home, the house is still standing, work is, well, work, and life is back to normal. Italy was fabulous and vacation recap posts will likely start tomorrow. The pictures have been uploaded to the computer but I haven't done any editing or anything yet. Eventually they will all be loaded into a set on Flickr. Soon but not tonight. Now I'm going to open a bottle of wine, read for a bit, then hit the sack. I plan to sleep until I wake up - I'm not setting any alarms. I went to the grocery store tonight on the way home so I wouldn't have to do it tomorrow. I do need to clean the house but it can wait a day or two, plus it doesn't take more than a couple of hours anyway.
