Got My Raise! I Now Make...

Suffice it to say that I was still ranked as a "High" performer and the percentage was decent considering a) the economy and b) this company has been consistently shrinking the pool of $$$ available for raises in IT. The way I see it I have a job and I got a raise bigger than 0% so I'm a happy girl.
Also making me happy is the cap on the well. Took them long enough. Now let's keep fingers crossed that the cap holds and there are no leaks or ruptures.
I figured out what did the zucchini plant in - squash bugs and Vine Borers. I think there were some aphids and spider mites in there as well. I definitely know the first two had a hand in the poor things demise as I saw the bugs and was able to identify the big white worms as vine borers with the help of Google. Ugh - they still give me the willies! I'll need to research organic deterrents before trying zucchini or any kind of squash again. Maybe companion plant marigolds with them or something.
