Cute Puppy!

No, I did not get a dog.  One of the neighbors got a new puppy so the cul-de-sac had to come meet the new addition Sunday.  She's a beagle-bichon mix and her name is Buffy.  (I thought she was named after Buffy the Vampire Slayer but, alas, no.)  Let me tell you, she is super cute.  Not so cute that I went out and got my own or anything but cute enough that I couldn't resist picking her up and getting puppy kisses a couple of times! 

I'm sticking to my guns through.  No dog for me until I get a fence put up.  And the one I get will be adopted from a rescue.  There are too many animals out there that need good homes for me to feel OK about going to a breeder.  Plus I have a soft spot for mutts!

Now if only I could find a cat I wasn't allergic to......
