mythicalgirl | Keeping The Lights On

We are doing our annual Disaster Recovery exercise this week where I work. I am lucky enough to be a "first responder", which means I am responsible for recovering some of our systems/applications once the servers are built out. (yes, I am being sarcastic about the lucky part). I am currently waiting for word that my servers are ready and they need me at the recovery center. I seriously doubt they'll be ready tonight but it is always a possibility. What I really want is to kick back with a beer. Alas, that isn't advisable right now since I may have to head over to the recovery center at any time.

And I watered my gardens when I got home and was attacked by mosquitoes so now I itch all over.

Damn, I hate Disaster Recovery week.
